How well do you know the United States?

Here's a little quiz fulla questions (only 25) taken from the new naturalization test to become a U.S. citizen. I missed three, resulting in a score of 88%. Not my best work, for sure, but I'm not in jeopardy of getting yanked outta the country or anything. I can think of about fifty people I saw today about whom the same probably cannot be said. And I think I only saw about fifty-two people today.

Oh, if only some of them could get yanked outta the country for being stupid. Is that really too much to ask?

I took this quiz the other day and scored a 92% (missed two questions - one on the number of amendments [I guessed 29; it's really 27] and... actually, I can't remember the other one.)

What's the minimum score you need to get to stay in America?

I knew you were a smarty. You should have your own blog. What's that? You do have your own blog? Huh. Perhaps you could post something sometime. Just sayin'. :)

You scored higher than I did, so you are likely safe. Let me check with GWB first, though, before I promise anything.

I'm using the old test in my WS class today. We're talking about citizenship. I saw the new questions which are a little better than the old ones but not much. We're going to analyze why they ask the questions they do and, of course, I'll have them take the test. I am hoping for some kind of dramatic reaction. Fingers crossed!
MP--I missed the # of Amendments too, I underguessed. Bad, bad American!

I missed two. Amendments and Supreme Court Justices. I can only feel better by knowing, as you noted, that I did much better than many others would.
